Job description

My client is a well known developer of renewable energy projects, particularly solar and wind projects. They are now seeking a new design engineer to work on the photovoltaic land and rooftop installations taking place in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detailed DC design of the PV installations

• Preparing equipment specifications and selecting the types of panels to be used

• Carrying out stability studies

• Deciding on whether rooftop or land installations would suit each project better

• Working closely with the AC design team to decide on the best fit for each project from technical and economical perspectives

Candidate Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience of electrical/design engineering within the solar PV market

• Fluent German and English speaker

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent communicator
