Job description

Solar Manufacturing Strategic Professional, Shanghai, China $100K+

My client is one an international world-leading suppliers of turn key solar manufacturing production lines. They are looking for an experienced strategic buyer / procurement manager for their operations in China.

Responsibilities:-

• Strategic sourcing of systems, modules, mechanical and electrical components in China to reduce costs
• Monitoring and anaylsis of the suppliers market to locate and negotiate the best deals, reporting back any market changes and providing forecasts
• Identification, selection and build up of client supplier base in China.
• Responsible for cost cutting exercises across all areas of the business

Requirements:-

• Degree in Engineering or related sciences
• Mimimum 5 years experience in an international procurement positions, with proven track record of cost reduction
• Experience in semi-conductor / mechanical / renewable sector prefeed
• MUST be fluent in Mandarin and English
• Must be willing to travel
