Job description

Senior/Principal Environmental Planning/EIA Consultant -Minerals & Waste

We have a great opportunity for an experienced planner/EIA consultant to join a successful Environmental Planning consultancy in the Northwest of England. Their work covers a variety of sectors from minerals, waste management to renewable energy.

You will be joining a team of specialists and a company able to support you in your role and career development. Due to their location they have an envied and sought after work/life balance.

As a senior / principal planning consultant you will provide technical support and direction to the planning projects and manage a variety of multidisciplinary projects. Projects you will be involved in may include planning policy and legislation, EIA preparation, waste management licensing and IPPC applications, risk assessment and due diligence.

To be successful in this position you will need to have a

•Bsc qualifications ( Msc level is preferred)
•Planning and/or EIA & consultancy experience ( 3-5 years min)
•Project management experience including budgeting & financial control.
•Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is desirable as is knowledge of the minerals and waste sector.
