Renewable energy strategy analyst

We are working with a leading European energy utility company. They have a large division that focuses on the supply of renewable energy. Wind power is the main focus yet they are increasingly looking at the feasibility and supply of hydro, biomass, solar, geothermal and wave.
Growth and success of this division means they are looking for a strategy analyst to join the renewables team in Wiltshire

Part your role will be to:
• Model the UK and European renewables market and promote the development of business strategies
• Travel Across the UK and Europe and also represent the client in various corporate/strategy events
• Detailed competitor analysis and activity
• Help realize strategies to increase the company\'s business assets

Essential Requirements:
• Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in an economics or technical/engineering background
• Extensive experience in one or more of the following sectors: Renewable energy, energy trading, strategy and management consulting.

• Very high level in analytical & modelling skills

• Demonstrable commercial awareness
• Fluent English, written and spoken. Additional European languages will put the candidate at an advantage.
• Highly developed organizational skills and fine attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel across the UK and Europe.
