Job description

My client is a leading global  manufacturing company specializing in thin film technology. They are looking for a process engineer who specializes in PECVD (Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition) for a role in California.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication projects focused on solar cells
  • Planning and implementation of process engineering projects
  • Revise old plans and implement changes relating to new technologies
  • Devise new methodologies for processes alongside colleagues

Skills/qualifications:

  • Minimum MSc in materials science, chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering or physics. PhD preferred.
  • Strong team player; \"can-do\" attitude and enjoy challenges
  • Prior experience (at least 3 years) specifically in a thin-film solar-focused process engineering role ideally with good fabrication project experience
  • US citizen/green card or other valid work permit
  • Available to begin a new role no later than March 2010
